Mission Focused with a Rooted Perspective
The FIAT Collective is a mother-daughter design team — Norma DiGuiseppe and Cara Dussich — united by a shared belief that a well-designed space is a deeply personal one. Together, we bring over 30 years of combined experience across residential interiors, contemporary fine art, creative direction, and visual design. Our approach is one of quiet confidence — understated, livable, and always individual. Two perspectives, one vision. We listen first, then design with intention.
In Catholicism, "fiat" means "let it be done." Derived from Latin, it refers to the Mary’s humble and courageous "yes" to God at the Annunciation (Luke 1:38). It represents complete trust, surrender and obedience to God's will. The partnership of this team is rooted in a service mission rather than business venture. In the busy pace of today’s world, our hope is to create spaces that are not only visually beautiful but that also inspire togetherness in a cohesive and authentic way.

Cara Dussich
Cara Dussich is the CEO and Founder of The FIAT Collective. Growing up surrounded by her mother's love of art and interiors, she developed a discerning eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to functional beauty.
Her work is guided by a simple conviction: that the spaces we inhabit should reflect who we are — not who we think we should be. Every project is a collaboration, every room a story waiting to be told.

Norma Di Guiseppe
Norma DiGuiseppe is the Principal Designer and Co-Founder of The FIAT Collective and the creative force behind Cara's lifelong passion for design. Her storied background in interiors — residential, commercial, hotels and hospitality and custom furniture — inspires her sensitivity to proportion, light, and material. It is the heart of what has shaped the studio's aesthetic from the very beginning.
Norma's work is marked by a quiet sophistication and a deep respect for the way beauty and function can coexist.
